History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting brigands, the young John began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is content

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love

He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His white hair is knotted and matted. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.
