History: Conrad was born with his father's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Human Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: He stands about 5'11" and wears a green vest and prefers black and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is a Barber first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Unemployed profession.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his grey robe. He is portly but not overly obese. His silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Guy embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Bellfounder; and he is greedy

Description: This late middle aged man wears many layers of old clothing at all times and is in decent physical shape. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and to be a blacksmith again
