He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Heward was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
