History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Mercenary and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mayor profession.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor
