Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Servant.

He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Heward wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Warlock, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the south to a Detective, Ralf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Ralf liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To be a Mercenary again; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult
