History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and to find somewhere to settle down
