Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Adam embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: The child of a Server, who enjoyed hunting, Adam was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Server, but he got bored and became a Crown-heir. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Cory and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Cory discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Cory fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He worked as a nervous Armorer and found it very stressful. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
