Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the north to a Miller, Bernard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
