Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a Apothecary, his father struggled to pay the bills. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and he perpetually has his glaive ready. His hair is golden and curly. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theodoric fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and money/treasure
