When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Anselm never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is long and golden with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. He has violet eyes and a grey hat with a violet feather.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and further expansion of business
