He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Through the years after Anselm was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Anselm's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.
