When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Kody and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Lewis hails from a village terrorized by giants. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
