Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bertram's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Bertram was born with his father's beautiful face. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Alexandre hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants revenge against goblins

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
