History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: Gunter is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born in a small island village. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. A true patriot, Theodoric would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barber.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and expand his business
