Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Born to a Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Barrister work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
