History: Born in the west to a Butcher, Reynard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He tends to his Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
