History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He became a Tanner soon after.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bernard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has worked as a Mason like his father before him.
