History: Frederick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
