Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of a Sage, who enjoyed hunting, Robert was taken on many hunting expeditions. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Randal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
