When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull white iron scale mail. His hair is long and golden with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. He has hazel eyes and a black hat with a white feather.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Human compassion; and doesn't want to be a soapmaker and was forced into it by his family

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'11" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He wears a colorful flower in his golden hair. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He became a Carpenter soon after.
