History: He was born in a small forest village. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Hugh enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Hugh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. After coming to the age of reason, Hugh took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stylist.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ralf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
