Personality: Everard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He tends to his Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Anselm abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Ruler. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
