Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears dull green sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed club, just in case. He has auburn hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his father's many stories. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he's looking for his big break

Description: A 5'0" southern man, he dresses well, wearing yellow shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. With a patchy white beard and wild white hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Layabout. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Layabout but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and a deep hatred of goblins

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Everard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
