Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Adam was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bather work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bather work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Bather job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bather responsibilities is difficult.
