History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theobald grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents enrolled him in a Rogue school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Theobald abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has achieved small success as a Map Maker.
