In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother.
