Description: He stands about 6'1" and wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available he will default to his crossbow. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second son.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: He is a husky man, who dresses like a well dressed Interpreter does. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are brown.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Don was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
