History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has never given up on his painting dream.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Alex does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He bought a hammer and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, John embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
