He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roger does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.
