His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His green eyes peer out from beneath his broad grey hat.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Hubert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A freak accident while working with his Carter mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.
