Personality: He is a Stableman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Stableman and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and doesn't want to be a carter and was forced into it by his family

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Guy was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new dilettante responsibilities is difficult
