History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kody embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Kody was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Kody's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Farmer for the past few years.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: 5'2" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears skinny pants and wears a brown and tan robe with the hood down. His tied-back hair is auburn. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has achieved small success as a Servant.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in the north to a Butcher, Hubert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Through the years after Hubert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hubert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
