He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A freak accident while working with his Guard mother left him crippled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Gerard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
