Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Cook but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the east to a Cook, Miles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Cook. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a red tunic with black highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has dyed his greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He worked as a nervous Sculptor and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
