History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. After a long history of fighting, Geoffrey and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theodoric was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theodoric fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.
