History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Dilettante mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, brown shirt, and green tie. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: John was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
