Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Theobald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Gomory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
