History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raymond fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a Guard, his father struggled to pay the bills. He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents enrolled him in a Ranger school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
