The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.
