Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he loathes his own lifestyle

He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Drogo was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Painter for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult.
