He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Roger and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Patrick was born with his mother's beautiful face. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
