He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, John embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
