History: He was born into a rich family. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To be a Shepherd again; and doesn't want to be a ploughman and was forced into it by his family
