He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerald grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Marshal mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
