History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Gerard was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Healer. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his absent father

History: Raymond hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Raymond alone in the world.
