History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
