History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Anselm was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and doesn't want to be a stableman and was forced into it by his family
