Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born in the north. When Arnold reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and doesn't want to be a layabout and was forced into it by his family

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Chad lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
