Alexandre Lincoln, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'7". He is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats, and his gloved hand is found clutching a bastard sword. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Alexandre was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and many illithids want him driven away
Ideals: Justice, Philantrophist. Bonds: Attractive, Mentor, Enemies, Religious. Occupation: Seamstress
Voice: Pronounces 'its' and 'is' like 'eats' and 'ease'

Lance Winterbourne, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his quarterstaff with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his quarterstaff, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He is greedy.
Ideals: Philantrophist, Artistic. Flaws: Antagonistic. Bonds: Family, Rich. Occupation: Detective

Peter Barclay, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light white in addition to tight pants. His hair is silver and very short. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mercenary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mercenary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
Ideals: Athletic, Opinionated. Flaws: Disease, Insomniac. Bonds: Job. Occupation: Mercenary
Voice: Puts emphasis on the wrong words

Personal [hide]
Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'2" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
Ideals: Philantrophist. Flaws: Ugly, Insane. Bonds: Adventurer. Occupation: Guard
