History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Arnold isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arnold is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
